And so truly, God made MAN in His own image, not woman (as wondrous a blessing and glory though she surely is!).
And just as God so profoundly loves us, so likewise
is man to so selflessly and profoundly love woman.
(Let that not be forgotten, even as we realize that
God had only made MAN in His own image.)
Indeed, it is a false spirit which seeks to destroy man and woman
with advancing such a false concept, to therewith prevent men
from hearing and applying the calling to them to so profoundly love their
wives as selflessly giving and compassionately as the Lord Jesus Christ
Himself so loves the Churches!
Moreover, and beyond that matter there, the fact which these egalitarians or "feminizers" of God forget
is that Eve was NOT created at the same time as was Adam.
Indeed, upon a close inspection of
Genesis 2, we see that God,
Before Eve was later formed, some time had clearly passed since the creation of Adam in God's own image.
Finally, THEN did God create Eve out of Adam's rib.
Adam and Eve were NOT created at the same time.
To re-iterate, Adam was created in God's own image, and then,
after all the animals were created and subsequently named, the LORD then decided to
form Eve from Adam's rib.
The Scriptures are quite clear, it was not "male and
female" which were created in God's image, it was Adam, the man.
As the Apostle Paul explains,
as it is written,
"For a man... is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman;
but the woman [[ is ]] of the man.
Neither was the man created FOR the woman,
but [[ rather ]] the woman [[ was created ]] FOR the man."
(1_Corinthians 11:7[a]-9.)
"But I would have you know,
that the head of every man is Christ;
and the head of the woman is the man..."
(1_Corinthians 11:3a-c.)
The Word of God is clear on this...
Man is made in the image of God,
while the woman is the glory of the man.
